Dave Coulter is a Manchester artist famed for his street scenes. Dave's family came originally from Northern Ireland but moved from there in the 1920s, and he grew up in the inner city Manchester district of Chorlton-on-Medlock. He worked for many years as a radiator restorer, while painting Manchester scenes in oil and acrylic as a hobby. In later life he became more deeply involved in his art, creating and exhibiting hundreds of pictures in a style he calls 'Manchester impressionistic'. |
